NO! WHC is not a health insurance company and does not sell health insurance.
The reason we don’t sell insurance is that individual and group health insurance plans are too expensive and not affordable for most people. We don’t want to sell you or your Staff a healthcare plan they can’t afford to pay or even use.
There are less expensive methods you can use to offer your Staff an Affordable Healthcare Program.
See below for just some of the ways WHC can deliver.
✓ Your Staff can receive Medical Provider Discounts: Most Medical Providers give discounts to people who don’t have insurance. Discounts range from about 5% to 50%. Hospital discounts could be as high as 90%.
✓ Your Staff can use any Medical Provider, any Medical Service, anywhere in the U.S. and World-Wide.
✓ Your Staff’s Monthly Cost: WHC Cooperative Healthcare Plans are about 50% less than expensive than ACA and Group health insurance plans. No need for you to subsidize your Staff’s cost.
✓ Your Staff’s Out-Of-Pocket Costs: ACA & Group Plans have Deductible and Co-Insurance costs, called the Annual Out-of-Pocket cost; averaging between $9,000 and $18,000 per year or more. Your Staff must pay this cost before their insurance company pays all their medical bills.
✓ WHC has No Deductibles or Co-Insurance costs: Only a simple and affordable Co-Pay for each medical service. Your Staff’s Co-Pay is limited to only $1,000 per medical claim. Not $9,000 of ACA & Group Plans.
✓ How Your Staff’s Medical Bills Are Paid: With ACA and Group plans your Staff must pay their plan’s Annual Out-of-Pocket cost before the insurance company pays their medical bills. With WHC, your Staff’s medical service costs are paid on Day-One and Reimbursed to your Staff Member, in cash, by WHC.
✓ Discounts and Subsidies: WHC gives your Staff Discounts and Subsidies for being healthy, having a family, being a senior and having a low income. ACA and Group Plans, and Medical Providers are prohibited from giving your Staff Discounts or Subsidies.
✓ Cash Reimbursements: WHC gives your Staff Cash Reimbursements, on average, about 50% of their medical costs. ACA and Group plans don’t pay reimbursements.
✓ Hospitals cannot charge your Staff Member more than they can afford to pay: Hospitals must discount their medical costs and offer them a payment plan they can afford. Contact us for details!
Summary: WHC Healthcare Plans are about 50% less expensive per month, have an 80% or more, lower Out-of-Pocket cost and your Staff can receive Discounts, Subsidies and Cash Reimbursements!
Yes ! Offer both and let each Staff Member decide which plan they want.
Comparing a WHC Healthcare Plan to an Employer Group Plan:
✓ Group Plan Price: One price regardless of age or health condition.
WHC Plan Price: Customized for each Staff Member, with Discounts and Subsidies.
✓ Group Benefits and Coverages: Limited.
WHC Group Benefits and Coverages: Your Staff can use any Medical Service, anywhere in the U.S. and World-Wide; Dental, Vision, Hearing, even Holistic.
✓ Group “Open-Enrollment”: Limited. Not available to all your Staff Members.
WHC Group Benefits and Coverages: Open to any and all Staff Members; Full-Time, Part-Time, Families, Legal Aliens, Affiliates, 1099s, Volunteers. If you want a person on your WHC Healthcare Plan, they can be included!
Summary: Group Plans are limited and expensive for you and your Staff Members. A WHC Healthcare Plan is open to all Staff Members with greater Benefits and a much Lower price. No need for employer to pay Subsidies.
Offer Both Healthcare Plans. Let Your Staff Choose!
Yes! With WHC it does not matter the type of relationship you have with your Staff. All can become WHC Members and get an affordable healthcare plan. If you want them on your WHC Healthcare Plan, they can be included!
✓ Employees and their family including pets
✓ Part-Timers
✓ 1099s
✓ Legal aliens
✓ Affiliates
✓ Volunteers
Together we refer to all persons affiliated with your company as your “Staff” and individually as “Staff Members”.
Yes! In fact, they can even include their pets on their personal WHC Healthcare Plan!
With WHC, there are no age or relationship requirements. If they want any person to be on their WHC Healthcare Plan, they simply add that person. It’s that easy.
In addition, adding family members to a WHC Plan is far less expensive than adding family members to an ACA or Group plan.
Yes. Unlike an ACA or Group plan, which is “one-size-fits-all”, a WHC Plan is personalized by each Staff Member. ACA and Group plans don’t allow for personalization.
✓ Choices: A WHC Healthcare Plan lets each individual Staff Member chose their Benefits and Coverages to meet their needs and budget.
✓ Meeting Needs: An 18 year-old, single person, has far different healthcare requirements than a 50 year-old with a family of 4.
These differences should be recognized by every healthcare plan. ACA and Group plans don’t, WHC does!
✓ Any Staff Member can be on your WHC Healthcare Plan; No limitations, Full-Time, Part-Time, 1099s, Legal Aliens, Affiliates, Volunteers and their family members and pets
✓ WHC Healthcare Plans are 50% less expensive per month
✓ Out-of-Pocket Costs are limited to only $1,000 per medical claim. Not the $9,000 cost of Group health insurance.
✓ No Deductibles or Co-Insurance; Only a single, affordable Co-Pay
✓ Prescription Medications are Reimbursed 100%. No Deductibles or Co-Pays
✓ All Medical Services are Included; Dental, Vision, Hearing, and Holistic Medical Services
✓ Your Staff Member Can Use Any Medical Provider, Any Medical Service, Anywhere in the World; No “In-Network” requirement. No limitations!
✓ You Staff Member Can Receive Discounts & Subsidies; For Being Healthy, Having a Family, Being a Senior, Having a Low Income
✓ Your Staff Member Can Receive Financial Subsidies:
Loss of Income Subsidy – If and when a Staff Member loses their income due to a medical event, WHC will pay >your Staff Member’s WHC Healthcare Plan’s monthly Membership Contribution.
ACA & Group Plan Financial Subsidy – If a Staff Member is diagnosed with a major medical illness, and they have an ACA or Group plan, WHC will pay their insurance plan’s monthly premium cost.
✓ Each Staff Member Receives the WHC Concierge Service; Helps your Staff manage their entire Healthcare Program. Including reviewing medical bills for billing errors, duplicate charges, and available discounts.
Your Concierge helps your Staff Member locate cost-effective Medical Providers and answers your Staff Member’s healthcare questions so you don’t need to.
✓ Each Staff Member Receives a Community Healthcare Savings Account (CHSA); The WHC CHSA is similar to a federal HSA with greater benefits. WHC pays 5% interest on their CHSA balances.
✓ You can receive a Sponsorship Bonus; $100 for each Staff Member you Sponsor who purchases a WHC Healthcare Plan.

Multiple Reasons:
✓ Each Staff Member only pays for the coverages they want
✓ Staff Member’s receive Discounts and Financial Subsidies; For being Healthy, Having a Family, Being a Senior, Having a Low Income.
✓ WHC eliminates the insurance company from the payment path by connecting your Staff Member directly to each Medical Provider.
✓ Medical Providers give WHC Members a “Self-Pay, No Insurance” discount that ranges from 5% to over 50%. We’ve seen discounts as high as 90%.
✓ WHC does not incur the costs or legal requirements insurance companies incur. Not to mention the staffing, expensive salaries and profits of insurance companies.
First, WHC Healthcare Plans have no Deductible or Co-Insurance. WHC only has a simple and affordable Co-Pay.
WHC Co-Pay: 50% of the Medical Provider’s Billable Cost.
Billable Cost: Billable Cost is the Medical Provider’s Retail cost less the Medical Provider’s discount. Most Medical Providers will give any person a discount ranging from 5% to 50% or more when they have No Insurance and Pay on the Day of Service.
For example, if the Retail Price for an office visit is $200 and the Medical Provider gives a 15% discount, the Billable Cost is $170 ($200 less $30).
WHC Co-Pay Example: If the Billable Cost is the $170, the WHC Co-Pay is $85.
WHC Reimbursement: Your Staff Member would receive an $85, Medical Cost Reimbursement.
Other FAQs go into more detail on WHC Reimbursements.
Yes. WHC can be used for doctor visits, dental and vision, and many other medical services not covered by your “Group” plan. The most important reason for adding WHC to a Group plan is to lower your Staff’s deductible and out-of-pocket costs.
Example: If your ACA or Group plan has an $9,000 Max Out-of-Pocket cost, your Staff Member would want to purchase a WHC Healthcare Plan with a $9,000 Benefit and a $1,000 Co-Pay Max per medical claim.
Here’s why: When your Staff Member has a Medical Event, WHC would reimburse up to $9,000 to pay their ACA or Group plan’s Deductible and Co-Insurance Out-of-Pocket costs.
Your Staff Member would only pay a maximum of $1,000 per medical claim. With an ACA or Group plan your Staff Member’s cost could be $9,000 before the insurance company pays all your Staff Member’s medical bills.
Questions to Consider: How many of your Staff can afford to pay $9,000? Likely, not many, if any. The question is, “Why are you offering and subsidizing a healthcare plan your Staff can’t afford to use?”
Please give these two questions careful consideration!
WHC could save each Staff member from having a major financial crisis!
Yes & No: The WHC Healthcare Plan is not a federal qualified plan that allows setting-up a traditional HSA with a bank.
However, we can do one better!
Each Staff Member gets a Community Health Savings Account (CHSA) with their WHC Healthcare Plan.
Our CHSA has fewer restrictions, no deposit cap or medical limitations as with a traditional, federal HSA.
Also, WHC Pays 5% interest on the Staff Member’s CHSA Account Balances.
No. WHC is completely portable. There is also no need for COBRA and no lapse in coverage. Your Staff Member would lose any subsidy you may provide, but not their WHC Healthcare Plan.
Two methods:
✓ Preferred Method: Have the WHC Healthcare Plan cost paid by your Staff Member using a credit or debit card. Any subsidy could be added to the Staff Member’s paycheck.
✓ Company Paid: The company pays WHC using a Group List-Bill and deducts the amount from the person’s payroll.
Two Main Reasons:
✓ To Increase Your Income”: Most Medical Providers only have one source of income. A single “Transaction” payment for a medical service. No more income until your Patient returns for another medical service.
Instead waiting to receive a single Transaction Payment, how about an Annuity Payment that you receive even when you don’t see Patients?
✓ To Provide All Your Staff and Patients with an Affordable Healthcare Plan: Reports show fewer people have health insurance because of the cost. You see them every day. That’s why you offer a “Pay on Day of Service” discount.
In addition to giving a discount, WHC is your opportunity to have a new, significant, on-going Income Source!
Your Options to Increase Your Income
✓ Increase prices: Most people think healthcare is already costs too expensive. This may result in losing patients.
✓ Get more reimbursements from insurance and federal or state aid programs: This will not likely happen.
✓ Work more billable hours: Yes, but do you want to?
✓ Receive Income from related products and services: Some have opened surgical centers and dispense medications. WHC is in this Category!
WHC provides you with a new source of income
Annuity Subsidy: You receive an Annuity Subsidy when your Practice offers the WHC Healthcare Plan to your Patients. Your Annuity Subsidy is paid to you even when you perform no Medical Services.
Following is an existing business model to support our program and proposal for you:
Long ago car dealerships learned that just selling cars was not enough. They began offering insurance and financing, which allowed them to sell more cars and significantly increase their dealership’s income.
The same can be said for Medical Providers. Provide additional services to help your Patients and receive additional, non-medical income for offering the WHC Healthcare Plan to your Patients.
All your Patients need affordable healthcare. You are a trusted advisor, and your location is excellent to offer your Patients an affordable WHC Healthcare Plan.
Contact us for details and a proposal.
Because You Must Treat Patients without insurance and the likelihood you won’t get paid.
✓ WHC can turn non-paying Patients into paying Patients. You are required to provide Medical Services to everyone. Even when they have no insurance and likely you won’t get paid.
✓ WHC is an alternative to a hospital bankruptcy: The Hospital’s we’ve talked with are not happy with insurance companies and their payments. They also talk about treating Patients with no insurance, not getting paid and overall profitability. Many are looking for viable options as an alternative to closing or selling to a large hospital group.
WHC is a viable, good option for you to consider.
Below are some of your Non-WHC options:
Increase prices: If the Patient doesn’t pay, increasing prices has no effect on your income.
Get more reimbursements from insurance and federal or state aid programs: This will not likely happen.
Receive Income from related products and services: Some have moved into more specialized Medical Services & Products. Actually, WHC is in this category.
Our Proposal: WHC will provide your Hospital with an on-going financial Subsidy when your Hospital offers the WHC Healthcare Plan to your Patients and other residents and employers in your Community.
Contact us for details and your Subsidy Proposal.
Any Hospital! We favor rural Hospitals because of their extreme financial need.
Yes! Legally you are OK. You do not need an insurance license to receive the Financial Subsidy.
We are reimbursing you for the cost of offering WHC to our WHC Members. We’ll describe your Financial Subsidy in more detail in your proposal.
Contact us for details and a Financial Subsidy proposal.
Introduction: First, we’re going to use some financial terms. Then give you some examples and show you how it all relates to your Hospital and to your WHC Hospital Subsidy Proposal.
Transactional Income is when a business receives payment when they sell a product or a service. With Transactional Income the business gets paid once per transaction. For example, a real estate broker’s commission is a form or Transactional Income. Performing and billing for a Medical Service is a Transactional Income.
For purposes of your Proposal, we’ll call this your “Transactional Subsidy”.
Annuity Income is when a business receives on-going income from a sale, usually without doing any additional activities. A monthly Membership Fee is a form of Annuity Income. Medical Providers have no Annuity Income.
For purposes of your Proposal, we’ll call this your “Annuity Subsidy”.
You Subsidy Proposal has Two Options
The Reason for Your Subsidy: Your Subsidy is being paid to reimburse you for your costs associated with offering WHC to your Patients.
You receive a Subsidy for each Patient you sponsor and who joins WHC. The amount of your Subsidy is based on the type of services you perform.
✓ Option 1 – Transactional Subsidy: Simply introduce WHC to your Patients. For those who have health insurance, ask them if they would like to have a “free”, no obligation review of their healthcare insurance plan.
For those who do not have insurance, ask them if they would be interested in having an affordable healthcare plan.
Collect some basic information and forward to WHC. We will follow-up with each Patient with a no cost WHC Healthcare Affordability Review.
WHC will pay you a $100 Subsidy for each person or family that you assist to purchase a WHC Healthcare Plan.
✓ Option 2 – Annuity Subsidy: With this Option, a staff person counsels your Patient, does their Quote and takes their application to purchase their WHC Healthcare Plan. If you prefer, a WHC Staff Person will be assigned to your Practice to perform these functions.
WHC Annuity Subsidy Example: Let’s take a typical 30 year old who has purchased a WHC Healthcare Plan. Their monthly price is about $230. Your monthly Annuity Subsidy would be $23.00, $276 per year.
For a family of four, your monthly Annuity Subsidy would be about $93.00 per month, $1,116 per year.
Next, by only adding 10 new Patient Members per month could produce a total, initial, annual Annuity Subsidy for you of over $200,000. And this Annuity Subsidy could continue for many years.
Summary: The Annuity Subsidy has the greatest cash amount and is the longest paying. The Annuity Subsidy is much better than the one-time, Transactional Subsidy.
With either Option it will be a great Service offered by your Hospital to all your Patients and other persons you serve.
To Any Staff Member: Your employees, part-timers, 1099s, legal aliens, volunteers and other affiliates (your “Staff). There are no restrictions.
To All Your Patients: Many cannot afford the cost of healthcare. Consider those Patients that you see without insurance. Other Patients may have an employer Group plan. WHC could cut their monthly and Out-of-Pocket cost by 50% or more.
To Other People and Companies: Consider the persons and companies that regularly interact with you and your Practice. They all need an affordable healthcare plan.
Help them all get an affordable healthcare plan and receive a Financial Subsidy for your assistance.
There are two options depending on your level of involvement
Staffing: First, you should have a staff person trained to perform either service. An alternative is to have WHC provide the on-site staff person. We can discuss in the Subsidy Proposal.
✓ Option 1 – Basic Introduction: Simply introduce WHC. For those Patients who have a health insurance plan, ask them if they would like to have a “free”, no obligation review of their current plan.
For those who do not have insurance, ask them if they would be interested in having healthcare insurance that is affordable. Collect some basic information and forward to WHC.
We will follow-up with each person you refer to us.
✓ Option 2 – Counseling Service: Help your Patient choose the WHC Healthcare Plan’s Coverages and Benefits that meets their needs and budget. Use the WHC Quote form to price the WHC Healthcare Plan. Obtain approval from your Patient to join the WHC and purchase a WHC Healthcare Plan. Prepare an order form and send to WHC for processing.
Messaging: Tell your Patients you are concerned about their financial health as well as their physical health. Continue with the cost of healthcare and insurance. Tell them there is no cost or obligation to receive a healthcare insurance affordability check. We’ll provide training on how to interact with your Patients.
Marketing Materials: All marketing materials are approved by you before use. The marketing material states that you entered into a relationship with WHC to help lower their healthcare costs.
Ask us for samples of the marketing material we have successfully used with other Medical Providers.
HIPAA Doesn’t Apply: You will not divulge any HIPAA related information to us.
We only use medical information disclosed to us by the Patient to the Staff Person in order to provide them with a Quote.
In addition, each person approves the use of their medical information.
